It is important that your arm is heal in a sling initially to allow the bones to heal back together. Sometimes you may require surgery to pin or plate the bone fragments together. After your fracture has healed, it is quite common for your shoulder to be stiff and require exercises and mobilisation to stretch your shoulder joint and restore full function.
