Julie has a background of 10 years clinical experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, working within private practices in both New Zealand and Australia. Throughout this time, Julie has worked with numerous rugby teams at both club and regional representative levels, and has a keen interest in rugby injuries. Julie has a keen interest in hand and other arm injuries and is our expert in the clinic for conditions that also involve the entire arm.
Two years ago, Julie started to work part time as a hand therapist and has enjoyed becoming more specialised, which has driven her to take up the opportunity to work at the shoulder clinic to see both shoulder and elbow injuries.
As part of her postgraduate studies, Julie has completed training in Western Acupuncture and offers this as part of her treatment when appropriate.
