Tom Mason is a seasoned physiotherapist with over a decade of experience in musculoskeletal practice. He holds a Bachelor of Health Science (Physiotherapy) and has furthered his expertise by completing a postgraduate diploma in musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
Tom’s clinical interests are deeply rooted in sports-related upper limb injuries, particularly those arising from throwing sports such as cricket and baseball. His extensive background includes working with football teams, which has honed his skills in managing dynamic and high-demand athletic injuries.
In addition to his role at the Auckland Shoulder Clinic, Tom practices as a hand therapist at Hands On Rehabilitation in Albany, where he continues to expand his proficiency in upper limb rehabilitation.
Outside the clinic, Tom is an avid runner who enjoys exploring New Zealand’s outdoors, reflecting his commitment to an active and healthy lifestyle.
Tom is available for consultations at the Auckland Shoulder Clinic’s Albany location on Tuesdays and Fridays and is in the City Clinic on some Friday mornings.
